Push for the Play-Offs continues

Another hard fought victory gives the Sabres more and more reason to believe. After last nights 4-3 SO win over the Senators the Sabres trail the 8th place by only 2 points. 13 games left on the season for Buffalo and every game will be like a Game 7 playoff-game.

Since the Trade-Deadline the Sabres are 5-2-0 and 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. The main reason for that is Ryan Miller. Incredible games in Anaheim and San Jose gave the Sabres a chance to even start thinking about the playoffs again.

Cody Hodgson was aquired in a trade that sent Z. Kassian to Vancouver. So far "CoHo" has played pretty good but has yet to register a point in a Sabres sweater. Sulzer arrived in Buffalo as well and M-A Gragnani was going to Vancouver as well. "Sulz" is a reliable stay-at-home defencemen and is paired with Ehrhoff at the moment. Sulzer gives Ehrhoff a chance to go on the attack while he protects the own end.

The Sabres will have 10 games in the next 19 days and as I mentioned every single game will be a huge one. The will face off against their opponents in the fight for the 8th spot.

17th @ Florida
19th @ Tampa Bay
27th @ Washington
31st @ Toronto

Thats four important road games and if they can win them all they should have a good shot to make the playoffs.

They will play Montreal (twice), Colorado, Minnesota and Pittsburgh at home this month. Not really easy games but they have to find a way to beat these teams.

To make that happen, an arena that the players can feed off would help. Several media guys reported that the First Niagra Center is pretty much the quietest building in the NHL. In order to change that, sabres fans take the initiative. They wanna bring back the noise and you can help them. Please follow @FNLoudBUF on twitter and join the effort to make hockeyheaven even more special. Terry Pegula and his staff have done a lot for the Sabresfans in the past. It's time that we give something back.
