Last Update this year

Well the Sabres still have not won 2 games in a row. Last night they lost 3-1 to the New Jersey Devils. Andrej Sekera left the game and will miss weeks. Ehrhoff, Pominville, Adam and Roy) the only 4 Sabres starters (out of 19) who have not missed games due to an injury this season. Let 2011 end already and let's hope that things run a lot smoother in 2012. Hopefully Myers, Ennis and Gerbe will be back soon.

I am confident that Buffalo can win against Ottawa on New Years Eve and we just gotta pray for good times in Washington the day before. As of now the lights are almost out for Derek Roy and Drew Stafford. Both have not answered the bell. Both could be on their ways out. But Roy is a center and that could mean that the Sabres have to keep him because they dont have any centers at all. Sekera's injury mostlikely saved his ass too. He could have been on his way out as well but now with that injury no team is going to take him.

Stay tuned for more regular updates in 2012. I hope I have a lot more time for them in the future.

Week-End Update

Not much time lately to write anything at all but long story short. NOTHING has changed. It's still a Sabres rollercoaster and its still unbelievable how many injuries the Sabres have to suffer this year.

Ennis and Stuart both injured in last nights game vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Roy, Stafford, Ennis, Hecht, Kaleta, Gaustad, Leino, Gerbe, Tropp, Myers, Weber, Boyes, Regehr, McCormick, Leopold and Miller have all missed games this season due to an injury. Colin Stuart will miss at least a month now.

So whats on the Sabres list now? You wait and hope that it is 2012 soon. This injury bug has to end one day and hopefully it will end soon. Nevertheless the Sabres didnt play good at all last night against the Pens and injuries are one reason for some losses but can not be an excuse for forgetting the basics of hockey.

The Sabres travel to Ottawa on Tuesday and play the Leafs on Thursday. Games within the division are important and the Sabres have to show up or we might see a trade soon. Roy and Stafford are currently both sitting on the hot seat.

Sabres take on the Flyers

Today its just a short message but the Sabres are still looking for a streak. On Friday they lost to the Wings at home and one day later they were able to win at Nashville. Mister Tootoo ran over Miller who had his first game after the injury he suffered in the Boston game. Tootoo was suspended for two games and the open season on goalies had its first set-back. Wow they start suspending players now...holy crap.

Tonight the Sabres will play against the Flyers and its one of the teams you wanna see in tears after the game. Miller will start again and we can only hope that the Sabres throw in another win tonight at the First Niagra Center.
